    Wonder what the NATO response will be/what it means if Article V isnt automatically invoked. When was the last time a foreign government said they’d launched an attack against the US? Genuine question.

      NATO also only works defensively - the US struck first, and as a result no NATO country has any obligation to get involved, even if it were an attack on home territory.
