I think I know what you are trying to say - if you visit the Fascist States of America right now you shouldn’t be surprised when the fascists go fascist on you - but this is still arguably a misuse of the face-eating leopards idiom, since he was never a leopard supporter.

That tracks. They treat the Constitution the same way they treat the Bible. What is written there doesn’t matter. It’s not a thing that actually exists but a concept, and that concept “says” whatever they want it to say.

Getting sync server running is a bit of a challenge, though, since there is very little documentation for it. If you’ve ever set up an internet-connected server before, though, it’s not too hard to figure out. There’s a docker-compose.yml file that does a lot of the work for you.

You’re thinking of Vice Chair David Hogg.

Hogg pledged to primary ineffective democrats and the party crucified him for it. Current chair Ken Martin opposed this, proposing a change to bylaws that would require impartiality in primaries.

I am firmly with Hogg on this. Progressives need to be supported and conservative Democrats purged. Republicans with a D next to their name are no less an existential threat than those with an R. I don’t see Ken Martin as promising in any way whatsoever.

Authoritarians compartmentalize everything. The conclusions are indisputable and so no two justifications must ever be mentally compared to one another. They don’t even realize they’re doing it, and will assume it is being done to them.

While the joke is indisputably funny, it’s important to remind everyone that it’s still a harmful stereotype. Bi/pan erasure is a genuine problem. You don’t stop being bi/pan simply because you enter a monogamous relationship.

Compartmentalizing and blindly following aggressive authority figures are the key traits of authoritarians (RWA). These are not desirable traits and RWA should be recognized as the dangerous mental illness it is.
