Nah, you aren’t thinking big picture enough. A person is ONLY valuable if they reach adulthood with chronic conditions. They need their customers to survive childhood.

I am a bit surprised. I guess I thought their customers would move towards Rivian, Lucid, or Polestar.
I’m old so take this with a grain of salt. It is a combination of the best looking shoes not being the most comfortable and being told that women look best in heels.
