Trump put a tariff on soybeans during his first administration and this was exclusively aimed at China who consumes most of our exported soy. Farmers suffered and Trump gave them billions to make up for it resulting in a tariff that didn’t help anyone. China started sourcing soy from Brazil. Which ate up more rainforest. Overall it was one of the most expensive tariff blunders in terms of both dollars and negative externalities.

All because China can’t grow enough soy.

You can’t impersonate an officer when officers are doing everything in their power to not be recognized as officers. No face, name tag, department, badge, uniform, warrant, marked government vehicle, standard issue side arm, etc. If no one is a cop then everyone can pretend to be a cop.

Remember yesterday when every Trump supporter was talking about the amazing peace bringing powers of Trump and how between his bombing run and ceasefire he was the greatest leader of all time?

I reminded each of them that Israel has violated every ceasefire this year within hours. Trump supporters laughed. Not one could offer any idea on why this time would be different. They weren’t capable of admitting this was going to fail. And today they will find some other thing to pretend will justify his so called leadership.

And what if they take your ID, claim you aren’t a citizen so you don’t get due process and then they deport you to a foreign prison?

You can only use proportional force to defend yourself under stand your ground laws. If you stab someone that is only using their body parts then you go to jail. Will a jury convict? It will take a year or two to find out.

If you stand your ground you still go to jail. Even if you are released you still got more inconvenienced than them.

As a white person I’m at minimal risk from them. But in order to stand your ground for another person they must have a legal right to be where they are. And if they are, in fact, not legally here, then bad things happen to you.

It’s 2025. America. You see these men on the street.

If you assume they are going to rob a bank dial 911.

If you assume they are going to lynch someone dial 911.

If you assume they are going to kidnap someone dial 911.

If you assume they are law enforcement then get your eyes checked. They aren’t wearing any identifying uniform, no insignia, no badges.

If you assume they are impersonating law enforcement then dial 911 and get your eyes checked.

The obvious solution is to only vote for server side solutions voted on by users.

As a former resident of San Diego I have no problem sleeping with dudes. Because everyone is dude.

People think they’re clever when they ask “would you sleep with the dude?” My response is " bold of you to assume that I haven’t." Everyone is dude. You can try to twist things as much as you like but dude normalization reigns supreme.
