I think you fundamentally don’t understand the nature of politics (and also strikes). DNC is one of the two major political parties. They are working in the democratic system, they don’t need to do strike, they will not benefit anything from it. The strike is one of the hundreds of ways people can influence politicians from outside the system. Until the next Trump term, you still have much easier to achieve ways to do that from inside the system, the particular way America does democracy is still in place.
Whatever revolutionary things you believe will help can’t appear from nothing, it takes decades to build enough union power to even achieve something, and you’re working basically from scratch. Meanwhile, democratic process that you’re discouraging people from, is right here, existing, working albeit poorly.

I think you dont fundamentally understand politics if you can look at the current political climate and think for a second the DNC can obtain a super majority without any major changes. What you keep ignoring, because youre not listening, is the same political will that you think could be used to turn the DNC into a party it has never been could be used to orginize a strike which would have a larger impact then trusting the democrats to upend the status quo. Which they have refused to consider for as long as I’ve been alive.

His original comment is the only one talking about the alternative of using a strike and it has only six upvotes. Most people don’t understand politics. Additionally nobody is mentioning that Trump most likely is just a figure head which would require to convince people differently.

The amount of people and goodwill to do this would have the same effect if the same people started striking today.

A strike would be difficult but still much easier. It’s one of the few things that could stop whatever is coming.

It’s fascinating to see how disenfrenchised the population is.
