As to why it (IMO) qualifies:

“My children are 22, 25, and 27. I will literally fight ANYONE for their future,” Greene wrote. “And their future and their entire generation’s future MUST be free of America LAST foreign wars that provoke terrorists attacks on our homeland, military drafts, and NUCLEAR WAR.”

Hence, she feels her support is threatening her kids.

“MTG getting her face eaten” was not on my 2025 bingo card, though she is in the early stage of face eating.

I’m guessing they see the writing on the wall with Trump losing more of his base, and want to vie for the favor of the people leaving that cult. There are a lot of voters that are gonna want another Trump-like persona to replace him.

It’s actually a core tenant of actual “maga” not just “trump supporters” maga is extremely isolationist, a lot of them have experienced the Iraq war or had a child who did, it’s been maybe one of the very few consistent stances from maga from the start, they are staunchly against foreign war, “America first” is an explicitly isolationist slogan

This being so important to maga was actually one of the things I thought about first when I read about the Iran strikes, he’s absolutely abandoning a big chunk of the true believers and the thing about cults is it often only takes one thing to “shatter the glass” so to speak for some members, it just has to be the right thing to trigger it… there might be some serious fall out for him here at home over this

It’s not really, MTG was already leaving the Senate and bashing the party/Senate before this, basically for not being conservative enough and too neoliberal.

My post is misleading TBH, I’m close to deleting it.

She is an actual Nazi. Her ideal scenario is Israel and Iran killing each other off, and that won’t happen with an American invasion of Iran.

Nono, that was a joke. This is important because Drumpf is supposed to punish more brown people, not less.

[Scene opens on a wide, desolate savanna at dusk. The camera slowly pans over a leopard lying under a tree, its large body barely able to move. The sun is setting, casting a cold, dim light over the scene. Soft wind rustles through the dry grass. The leopard’s eyes are dull, its breathing labored.]

Narrator (soft, somber voice): In the wild, leopards are meant to stalk, to hunt, to climb. But for some, this is no longer possible. These are the leopards of the forgotten savanna… the ones who can no longer live the life they were born to lead.

[Cut to a close-up of another leopard, this one lying next to a watering hole, panting heavily. The camera lingers on its enormous, bloated body, its paws barely able to reach the ground. The leopard’s eyes seem vacant, devoid of the wild spark they once had.]

Narrator: Overfed and unable to move, these leopards have been left to a slow, painful existence. They can no longer hunt their prey, no longer climb the trees to escape danger, no longer feel the thrill of the chase. They are trapped in their own bodies.

[Cue the soft, mournful opening chords of “Angel” by Sarah McLachlan. The camera slowly pans over a third leopard, sluggishly trying to rise, but its massive weight prevents it from standing. It lets out a heavy sigh, its once-strong legs buckling beneath it.]

Narrator: They are the forgotten victims of a world that has abandoned them. Too fat to run, too weak to fight… These leopards are slowly fading, one breath at a time. They need your help.

[Cut to a shot of a leopard staring out over the savanna. The camera lingers on its face, eyes half-closed, its expression one of quiet resignation.]

Narrator: For just $3 a day, you can provide the care and support these leopards so desperately need. A donation will help give them the chance to live a life of dignity. Help them find their way back to the wild they were meant to roam.

[The music swells as the camera fades to black, and the words “Your donation can make a difference” appear in white text on the screen.]

Narrator (whispering): Please, don’t let them suffer in silence. The time to act is now.

[The music fades out, and the SPCA logo appears in the corner, along with a toll-free number and website for donations.]

I also would genuinely feel completely unthreatened by her shrill, impotent harpy-like posturing, even if I was an arthritic, evil scientist who had her children bound and suspended above a complicated device designed to extract their freedoms to power my Jewish space laser, and she’d just broken in to my hideout.

Trump comes out with a Tweet calling out “Horse Face Marjorie” and she falls right back into line licking his boots in 3… 2… 1

    This reality practically writes itself

Since she’s not running for Senate again, she has a lot of political cover to do what she wants TBH.

So she’ll vote to impeach our mad king in the face of this betrayal, to support world peace, save countless lives, and… nope. She, like every single Republican (and many Democrats) voted not to impeach Trump.

Sure, the senate wouldn’t actually convict and remove him from office, and maybe the timing could be better from a strategic standpoint… But to do nothing? When people are already disillusioned and politically disengaged!? Especially for people like Greene, who aren’t even running again, which is historically the only time Republicans show any semblance of a spine. Trump is emboldened to do absolutely whatever he feels like because there are no consequences! Republicans are a disease…

I just found out is Greene is not running for Senate in 2026, per her announcement in May:

    https://www.fox5atlanta.com/news/marjorie-taylor-greene-declines-2026-senate-bid-wishes-ossoff-good-luck

“We all know how these elite retreats work,” Greene wrote. “Many of the attendees hate Trump, backed DeSantis, look down on MAGA, and refused to fight when our election was stolen in 2020.”

Basically she’s saying she’s dissatisfied with the Republican establishment, so this new statement is actually in line with recent ones. It’s not hurting her that much.

It kinda weakens my “Leopards Ate My Face” justification (as politically she can do whatever she wants), hence I’m wondering if I should delete or move this post?

To clarify she is currently in the House, not the Senate. So her declining to run in the Senate has nothing to do with her staying and running to stay in the House.

Also this statement is from May, and her complaints are that people aren’t supporting Trump enough. Now in June, she isn’t supporting Trump. That sounds Leopard to me.
